Getting standard "page cannot be displayed" message

haven't been able to access google for last 4 hours, no problems at all with any other web sites i've tried.

have always found google to be an excellent search engine, can usually find everything from there.

I've been on my pc about just under 3 hours & I've been into google a few times without any probs....what you say makes it look as if the site is down. Odd one that!

oh well, i'll keep trying, just seems odd as never had a problem before, even when sites go down, unusual to stay down for such a long time.
