Is there a superstar in the UK porn world?

It seems to me that there isn't a porn star today who can claim to be a superstar. I'm old school and back in the 90s you had the likes of Wendy Taylor, Kerry Mathews, Shakina Shergold, Laura Turner, Gilly Sampson (the only star of today worthy of the accolade). Although I would say Lara Latex too is above most girls of today in terms of top class.
It's a different generation now, but are the girls now worthy being called superstars?

Wouldn't "superstar" involve a certain level of recognition in say the US, the UK and Europe. Few, if any, of those in the original post had any impact on the American market. The only one who could have gone there and said I'm... is Laura Turner because of the Buttman scene. The first name who springs to mind at the moment as far as covering all three markets is Jasmine Jae.

I realise it's a subjective topic.
There was an era where a lot of the girls were household names in the UK only, say their names and you knew straight away who they are and what they looked like. Not sure that could be said of today's girls, can it?
