i watched that scene a while ago and yes she could be acting surprised but i'm not sure she is. I think she's acting so far as not knowing what it is but i think it's genuinely surprised her that it has happened.

Many thanks for that, one question, hopefully someone will know, on the Pornhub Channel , these are premium scenes, Bluebird invested millions, at the end of the day did anyone apart from the girls make money or was it all an indulgence?

I suspect it was simply indulgence but there's very little evidence to base that on. Bluebird is a book waiting to be written - I know i had some big arguments with him on here and elsewhere but i would really like to interview him properly but whether he'd come out with 100% true answers is another matter. Same with the girls especially the likes of natasha, anna and gemma who it's safe to say wouldn't have done porn elsewhere beyond maybe twistys level of strip and a quick dildo. Then there's the questions of Bluebird tv which in turn brings in a whole different story.

You are right I think about it being an indulgence. It did bring gils into porn who would not do it otherwise. Just looked at Anna Lovato profile on Purestorm last logged in September 2011 and today she is 30, apart from Bluebird , I think the only commercial glamour she did was with IainT. The girls had a short life but they were well looked after by him. Wonder what they are doing today, that could be a separate documentary I think

It's an old story and the daily mail is just fulfilling it's porn is wrong and it's producers suffer because of it and ultimately become repentant scenario but there's some fascinating stories in there not least of which is like you say the girls.

Looking at their scenes as a whole they can mostly be dropped into two categories. The stuff which features US talent could be produced by anyone but the stuff featuring the likes of gemma, natasha, anna is very branded, very similar in style and content, almost carry on-ish or at the very least playbirds/come play with me with added hardcore.

And then there's the tv channel which most believed to be a serious competitor to the big guns and clearly scared them and may actually involve a far more interesting story.

Interesting link but have to be suspicious of The Daily Mail but lots of insights. The Bluebird Babe Shows were in their day excellent and lots of good performers. From what I have read the girls were the best paid and on the shows I watched they could justify premium salaries they all worked hard, Sammy Jane was excellent as were the others. It is a shame it closed but I can see the competitors would have been nervous of them, they did have the balance sheet to recruit who they wished to. In addition on video camera for a while they had Dave Wells and for stills Steve Berlyn both very capable individuals. After they left they seemed to lose background staff and there was a bit of blandness or more of the same with the shows. Still missed though
