You're right - AW is full of escorts bored with the whole thing, AIR is full of established porn types expecting big bucks, and the mainstream model sites are all very judgemental about photographers offering POV shoots - to the extent of instant suspension. Madcow used to be OK but went the same way. I guess their problem is that girls new to modelling tend to get leapt on from all sides by interested photographers, and get scared off the sites.
I've resorted to Facebook! But basically there's no quick and easy way to establish contact with new girls who are wiling to try this sort of stuff.

Sorry to be negative but it is the facts.
I have all but given up with private shoots due to issues finding reliable models and I only want solo, ideally upto toys, strictly no POV or interaction. Last year no shoot at all, the year before just one with a girl from Purpleport and one the year before with an established model that for various reasons had been discussed years before but never happened. Ten years ago I did several shoots a year. While now unlikely I would do more than three one without hassle or cancellation would be an achievement !
Net-model is a waste of time. Unlike other sites models can sign up with no verification but normally turn out to be timewasters. It is at least 6 years since I arranged a shoot from there and it actually happened.
As already posted AIR is the best I know for the highest levels but few models log in regularly.
Like you I will not go near Facebook, Twitter at all let alone to try and find models.

The best part of www.itsadult.com is that its a directory of not just male or female performers but also services you might find useful to being in the adult business
Theres also news, podcasts and more plus we do networking events and parties
You need to be signed up and verified also but if you are serious about producing that wont be an issue Im sure

PurplePort has mostly TFP castings. There few paid castings. Often people don't replay or cancel shoots.
Madcow doesn't allow advertised even opened legs shoot.
I am not on AIR ,I don't know how it works.
Twitter can be ok ,if you spend a lots hours on it.

I'm with Sparky on this. I've managed zero shoots so far this year and I'm not even asking for open leg work. Casting calls on Purpleport and Purestorm get minimal response but most models who reply don't fit my (fussy) requirements and the one or two who do look suitable vanish when you try and fix a session. I will probably end up doing the odd shoot with models I already know just to keep my hand in and slip quietly into retirement.
