They say if you meet your heroes, you'll be disappointed, well I won't be meeting mine and I'm literally gutted and angry at the same time.

Got in contact with a friend of hers about getting a shoot with her. The rate was excessive to say the least, especially when you're semi-pro and its a private photoshoot.

A better offer was presented by her friend and I thought about it and started saving. Now, the excessive price has been brought back up again and its just not fair , its cruel to be honest.

I've been a fan of hers since she started out and thats over 20 years ago. To be treated like this is unfair. I'm not rich. I've been saving up for months to get her.

Transport costs would have been covered for her and the friend, then the cost of studio and travel to locations and back to airport again were all budgeted for.

I don't like being screwed around like this. I've been at this for around 4-5 years and have never experienced anything like this.

I wouldn't assume that Charmaine has a hand in this. It may be the 'friend' who is manipulating you both to get a larger commision for him/herself ?

You say you're not rich (and this isn't the issue anyway, I appreciate the issue is the way business appears to have been conducted), but you mention an airport so are you talking a shoot abroad with airfares, studio, travel to locations. With modelling fee on top that would seem to be quite a sum.

yes, the friend insisted on air fares for both! So, yes, it would be expensive enough.

she appears now and then on facebook, but doesn't answer her emails. and the prices on that site are ridiculous to say the least.

I don't get out much so haven't got a clue who Charmaine Sinclair is but airfares for both? Someones taking the piss. Is this a job or a holiday for her and her friend?
