But it really depends on your subjective assessment of what constitutes "same/better content" doesn't it?

a fair response, but my view is - I can watch a streamed version of virtually any pornstar on a tube site for free, or I can pay TVX to stream the same type of content via their site....

why are TVX afraid to open their archive up for subscription funded downloads, like the other (more successful?) production companies have?

most of the TVX content of major UK stars could be recoded into a HD format from original video files, and then made available as a .mp4 file so it works on both Mac and PC, and mobile devices, and let the paying punter enjoy that content in a way that suits them....

if TVX are afraid of "piracy", that will always be there, you can't stop that, but frankly this stuff is already paid for, so TVX aren't making a fortune from a big "new" product, they're simply monetising their existing archive, so why put off potential paying punters simply because they want you to watch via streaming??

the UK's broadcasting laws prevent hardcore porn on television, which is why we're subjected to the joke of "babe channels" where a girl can't even touch herself on camera, whilst flirting with some mug who's happy to pay unnecessarily high call costs just to say "I like your boobs!"

why not embrace the internet and make it easier for paying punters to enjoy that content?? or are TVX just not interested in making money any more?

Television X looks like a world class site, but the fact that it is streaming only is a deal-breaker for me. I hate when sites penalize paying customers to thwart piracy.
I don't know what the solution is, but surely it can't be pissing off the people who actually do want to buy your stuff.

Those that rip off whole sites, know full well how to get the movies, no matter what the site owners may try against it. So they are not going to chase away pirates, but are chasing away potential paying customers.
