hi, do you honestly believe that internet porn is on the way out?? at a time when lightweight laptops are no longer coming with built-in DVD drives, tablet computers have taken off in a MAJOR way, and smart TVs and consoles are now coming with browsers built-in? you seriously believe the internet porn "phase" is going to end and people will go back to buying a DVD or a USB stick from a XXX store?

yes the UK Government are proposing a blanket ban on internet porn (censorship in another name) and there are potential risks to the internet porn industry as a result - after all, as soon as you tell your ISP that you want them to unblock your account, the ISP needs to maintain a register of all accounts where this has happened.... a cynical person could say that's a new form of the sex offenders register being created from day one, and everyone is signing themselves up! so yeah, internet porn DOES have a risky future in the UK alone, but globally?? Bangbros, Brazzers, Reality Kings, 21Sextury, DDF Network, Evil Angel, Jules Jordan, Elegant Angel.... who really goes down to a sex shop to BUY a DVD from these companies any more?? what's the point?? you know at least 1 or 2 scenes won't be worth a repeat viewing, and after a few weeks, it becomes stale, and what did it cost you?? ?25?

for less than ?30 a month, you could have between 20 to 30 fresh scenes a month for the same cost.... and as denneboom agrees, the film quality is 720p/1080p (in the HD age, punters EXPECT producers to offer a product with a minimum level of quality) and if you're not interested in today's scene, just log in again tomorrow for a new one....

punters expect at least weekly updates now, DDF and Killergram can manage a DAILY update featuring European/British girls - why can't other "producers" do the same? sites like FakeAgent and FakeTaxi have shown that there's no longer any need for "special locations" for the shoots - as long as the talent can deliver! nobody wants an "amateurish" product of an unknown girl fucking in a Premier Inn, but Michelle Thorne's site looks professional - all her videos are 720p and although most of the scenes are shot in her own home, they LOOK professionally done...

where is the average Joe going to splash his cash on a site subscription? to a site where the videos are all in HD, offering a daily or weekly update, with regular girls and a professional looking video? or on a site where there's a grainy video of a 72yr old granny giving a POV BJ to the cameraman? why have Brazzers/Bangbros become so successful?? they went "mainstream" with the hot girls, not niche... it's made them a lot of money! unfortunately, the British industry stayed with the "housewives" and the "amateur" market... and there's a massive difference between the quality levels of both the product and the talent....

if the British industry really believes that internet porn is on it's way out, then those producers need to take a look around and see whether their "hard work" is really paying off as well as they believe it is.... girls like Jess West, Brooklyn Blue and Michelle Moist are getting work abroad because there's no regular income available on their own doorstep, and yet the British producers complain that the talent pool isn't deep enough.... can someone please explain how that argument stacks up?

One of the US companies youve mentioned was reluctant to get into the internet for lacking that vision because their DVD sales were once so strong they frowned upon the internet.

Things are the way they are for a reason and certainly not for lack of trying and certainly not a validation for expecting porn for free on the basis of it being crap.

Of course internet the world over will still have porn that is not in question, with the silly censorship & blanketing of UK porn why would any UK producer want to spend money like Score, Bangbros, Brazzers, Reality Kings, 21Sextury etc who are free from unfair restrictions like the UK.

We had to adapt when the internet started & we all thought "thats the end of porn then" & we will do the same now, we can't compete with foreign companies as they have a free hand & can't warrant spending that kind of money here with ATVOD on your heels.

The UK stuck with the amateur market because the biggest percentage of sales & producers are amateur style, sales are down for everyone due to restrictions not product so UK download sites are under threat & it will change the way things are sold.

We were shooting 2-4 films a month up to December so the talent pool is not the issue as there are plenty of models, content share is now used over hiring...again most have used their heads & adapted in this recession.

As it is, most of those UK girls being shot for sites overseas are actually outsourced to UK production teams anyway which is probably a good reason why they're not interested in supporting campaigns against ATVOD whereas they should because it wouldnt surprise me if down the line ATVOD try to do a Measure B on us expecting pornographers to be licensed to shoot porn....

The pron industry will never die - its changing all the time and the uk seems to drag along behind it - dvd was where it was - but that incurs a cost it need to be made using raw discs then shipped and then sold. every stage takes a cut - where as on line cuts that cost down - its all downloads now.

It has to be different it has to appeal to the user and make them want more - to join and be a member. I think porn will still be here and there will still be consumers looking for it. we just need to keep that edge and find a reliable means to conduit that porn.

As for signing up being a sex offenders reg ? you really think so the majority of internet usage tends to be porn what do you think us blokes do when celebrity dancing on ice in the fucking jungle x factor is on.....
