When considering the posts made by thealtruist and Trumpton, I believe that there is a very significant difference in the manner of those posts; expressing your disappointment as regards cosmetic changes to your favourite porn star compared with an outpouring of offensive and crude insults. Mind you, thealtruist taking offence from the 'kick in the teeth' they perceive to have received is pushing it a bit.

Not that I really agree with the viewpoint regardless of the manner it was put across anyway, and as Angel Long is an established performer and producer, she's surely savvy enough to know how her own bookings and subscriptions etc are affected by whatever changes she's making as far as her look is concerned.
Even then, it's not so straightforward; there will be porn stars who might retain the same look/act/whatever but suffer a downturn in site subscriptions due to other economic factors and so on anyway.

What does disappoint and annoy me most is that Trumpton seemingly feels compelled to post whatever vitriolic nonsense happens to be occupying their head at the time. I was going to (incorrectly) say that it baffles me as to why they are allowed to write these things - to be fair to BGAFD admin, they've been pretty good at culling their more ridiculous ravings in a timely fashion for the most part.

I still remember Trumpton's outrageous 'obituary' post regarding Jamie Brookes, and the laughable subsequent explanation that they put forward, once their bizarre and, frankly, weird agenda had rightly been condemned by a significant number of respondents. I'm not sure what fraction of an apology it constituted; certainly not 'half', by any stretch of the imagination.

In that poster's own words, they are, most likely, "mentality retarded".

Lol at managing to make such a comical grammatical faux-pas while attempting to demean the intelligence of others, Trumpton. I'm the 1st one to say I wouldn't be where I am today without my fans.
I have always treated my fans with the uttermost respect & do a lot for my members of my website.
I do 2 webcams a week on my site for my members , I also do min of 2 uploads a week.

I also realize more than most that porn is a fantasy ...we are making a fantasy to wank over, To say I shouldn't be in the industry if I don't want people to look at my tits & pussy & comment is a bit silly really seeing as I have enjoyed being a porn star & got in it for the one reason to have people watch me & wank.

So if I have upset a few fans, i apologies, but sure it is not the be all & end all of your lives that a porn star has had a few tattoos .

Altruist - the common denominator of the 'real' Angel Long and the porn star is that they're both human beings. Your argument is a nonsense. If we were to follow your argument then no-one need ever be upset. No need to take offence at anything someone might say at work because they're not having a go at the 'real' you, they're taking issue with the person who performs the occupational role.

No need to be upset or angered by by a spouse or partner because they're not being unkind to the real 'you', they're merely addressing a social role eg that of 'husband' or 'wife'.

The original post appeared to me malicious, spiteful and vindictive. Are those things that any of us want in our lives ?

There's no such person as "Chubby" Brown. Royston Vasey plays "Chubby Brown". "Chubbs" doesn't exist. People attack "Chubby" Brown for telling sexist jokes. They don't attack Royston Vasey for playing "Chubby" Brown or for telling sexist jokes. They attack the character. People hate Max Hardcore. Not Paul F. Little.

If we watch a film we hate or love the character. Porn's no different.

That's a great post you've made. It's just difficult for me as someone who hates tattoo's. I don't understand why people want them or like them. It's something that I can't get my head round. But that's just me. I respect you as a person and a performer and wish you the best but you don't need it.

As a paying customer, you pay to watch a porn star perform, not to dictate how she looks. The only debt porn stars owe their fans is gratitude for buying their DVDs or subscribing to their websites, nothing more.

Those who think that they can demand somebody stick to a certain look or perform certain acts should get over the entitlement they think is bestowed by parting with their money. If you don't like it, what you are entitled to do is vote with your wallet. The chances are someone else will take your place.

Hmmm. Thats one way to look at it and since Angel is a producer of her own product maybe that applies but I'e found that isnt applicable most of the time because its the producer that pays the girl, makes the product and sells it to by pass that comment

As for fans, how many true fans are there really out there? A fan doesnt download content off a torrent site or watch for free on a tube site though I'm sure that can be argued against

Overall I agree with Angel. its not about the criticism but the fact you were so darned rude about it when you didnt have to be
