been thinking to myself, is it possible to hire girls to do shoots just for my own private use? been looking at pics taken by Rico78 and find them hot, hot, hot.
I am thinking of maybe a nice girl for some action with me to take some pics in a POV style for my own use only, not to be posted anywhere at all.
So is this possible? What sort of rates do girls charge for this type of work?
I am a total beginner at this, I have a half decent DSLR but no other equipment but i suppose as these would be just for me i suppose this wouldnt matter?

That's a rather naive way to look at it.

It's perhaps worth considering that some models won't see amateurs for private collections, some because of a sometimes unjust perception of them being a creep i.e. GWC and some models refuse because private collections do little to promote them regardless of the fact you're paying them and not doing TFP - some models think of what's in it for them to do a shoot apart from the money they get paid on the day.
Rates will vary from model to model and will also vary by what levels you're after e.g. UK, US or Continental mag. You can find models doing UK mag levels starting from about ?40 p/h for stills although some models will specify a minimum booking of 2 hours.
While a good number of models are happy to work with amateur togs, you should still approach them professionally i.e. no lewd dialogue, ask their rates for their levels if they haven't stated them and propose a location.

Join AIR and search models your area.
Approach models politely clearly and concisely explaining the style and level of content you require.
You may be lucky and get a model who offers you a shoot from her home straight away but at least until you have profile with good references from past shoots many models will only work with you in a studio so budget for this on top of the models fee.
If you are available at short notice you may get a good rate if a model has an unbooked day or a cancellation.

I wasn't accusing you personally of being a creep so I apologise if I gave you that impression. However the GWC element is a real one some models will look out for even if your intentions are good.

You will find that the AIR site is free to join and that will enable you to email some of the models on there.
Also you could do worse than put a post on the promotions part of this forum asking if any models would be available for a shoot with you.
When I did this late last year I was surprised at the response I got from the models who read these forums. For which I thank them all.
