Re: Should be called detractions

I sympathise but wouldn't go so far as to condemn the practice outright.

I do agree about the horrible euphemism, though- presumably originating from
the nation that gave us 'anticipatory retaliation' for 'unprovoked assault', and
'country and western' for 'Godawful whiney music' : -))

Where is is for medical reasons I agree.

I have nothing against it per say. If someone wants to do it that is their choice but I find it really unattractive.

I have just never seen a female on which it was attractive.

First this is a general response, not to any specific post.

As I posted on the other thread running to me implants are turn off.
Taking this definition of enhancement
Any process intended to improve the visual appearance
I certainly do not consider 99% to be an enhancement.

I will be honest that I prefer looking at natural breasts that are C cup upwards. I would not mind implants if they looked natural and moved around rather than appearing to be a hard ball cut in half and glued to the rib cage.

I just lurve pussy man. As long as the girls aint replacing those with dicks then its ok with me.

In truth, I can see why some girls would get enhancements but isnt the whole cosmetic surgery thing a reflection of female insecurity?

We all know that many women are insecure with their looks and probably the reason they do it is simply because they think this is what looks good to men because they are not comfortable with their own natural looks.

This perception of themselves is not through porn but through general mainstrem media, the lads mags, advertising, movies, music videos etc

This is why we mainly see boob jobs but psychologically it runs a lot deeper when you see women like Katie Price who goes the whole hog and gets lips, facials, and whatever else she gets done.

If anything enhancements just show what slaves to trends people have become and porn is no exception to that

I can categorically say I did not have my boobs enhanced for any reason other than I wanted to, I do not nor never have low self esteem or any insecurity whatsoever, I loved the shape of my breasts its just they were tiny and I felt my frame could carry a bigger pair. I spoke to my surgeon in depth and asked him to make them bigger without making me look fake (like 2 stick on coconuts) I said to do what he felt would be best and he did. Due to the nipple incision which is now invisible my boobs look extremely natural and no visible scars exist.

I do agree that it takes at least a year for a new pair to settle into your body, as I was under muscle to avoid that tell tale coconut look, it took a while for the muscle to relax enough to let the implant drop slightly.

I wouldnt change them for the world.

OK; but I'm afraid "I wanted to" doesn't actually explain anything : -)

I agree it's a [distorted] self-image thing.

Male pectoral-implants have been available for some time now but the take-up rate
seems fairly low- of course, pecs aren't strictly a secondary sexual characteristic.
OTOH, if reliable penis-enlargement surgery ever became possible, I wonder how
popular it'd be?

It's troubling when someone has had work done and you end up seeing pictures or films of them from before whilst seeing new stuff aswell. So you never get used to it. Sometimes her hooters are massive (in new pics/films) other times you will see an old clip/photoshoot, and this is after having seen some new stuff, and their mams are smaller. That is troubling. Michelle Thone's huge tits I have always liked, but she is one of the few who has had work done and not made herself look worse.

So, you did it for vanity, then? To look better? I don't mean to be rude but isn't that a contradiction to what you're trying to say?

I find fake tits, tattoos and any mutilation of the body like that a real turn off. I don't even like to much make-up on a girl. Just looks so fake and tacky. Natural all the way for me!
