Most of them came from a pure amateur background. As did myself. The only reason I made the transition and became known as a pro was by the sheer volume I was turning out and by the time I shot a series of scenes for a well known company I was seen as a pro while I considered myself amateur but was no longer accepted as an amateur.

Since the equipment is a lot better now its even blurred the lines of amateur and semi pro even more.

Ultiomately pro porn stars were not pro when starting out. More like they did it for a laugh and found they could make money doing it and before long, they were making money and known as professionals.

But i do understand where Welsh James is coming from. Just saying its all changed nowadays is all.

The only difference I see is the rise in boob jobs and cosmetic surgery versus natural which defines the difference between pro and amateur

Quoted for the truth. Getting people to act natural in front of a stranger with a camera is an art in itself.

I've watched a few real amateur movies and it's not always that exciting. They have little idea how to "Fuck for the viewers pleasure"

I guess it's the fantasy that these people live on your street and would fuck you if you asked.

I think you've nailed it there. Never again will we get true amateur stuff of the quality of those home movies made with clunky 1980's video cameras.

Thats precisely what I am saying Kim. These days amateur isnt what it used to be. The look and feel is not like how it used to be.

Sorry, just realised how pointless my reply was there!

I mean, sites like www.watchersweb.com , www.projectvoyeur.com , thats nearly all genuine amateur - although some obvious phoney pro stuf slips through (ie submitted by people who have just found it on the web.)
