Again I would agree with some of the posters on this thread (gawjus samara xx) that a less derogatory title might have suited the series better - but that's only because in my own opinion, Porn doesn't have to have 'nasty' titles to get peeps to view it - if they know it has the kind of guys & gals in it that want to see, or the style or the fetish etc - then why bother.? I must admit that when storm and I were glued to the goggle box watching the series being aired - we didn't know that Loz had shot a scene and we didn't think when we saw it that she would have been too happy if the title was known beforehand as she is definately curvy, but not a BBW - but , and let's be honest - when you approach or are approached by a producer, he/she will tell you what type of scene ,where , when and how much - you then probably sign a model release - and that's it - job done, content wherever it's going under what ever title they choose - that is pretty much the nature of the beast that we either love or hate.

Some producers (and also my aim when I really get going producing my own stuff ) will tell you exactly what they are shooting for and how it will be marketed etc - but only if they know in advance....but again things can change.

Storm is a BBW, and this was one of her first major scenes , it's opened up some interesting doors for her (us) so no real complaints here, but again as Samara said beore - it is a niche market - there are some good girls doing thier best to secure work in this genre - Dani (hi babes x) Dylan, Chardonnay, My own Storm and quite a few others and it's difficult enough as it is to get some of the bigger producers to take a chance on the larger ladies - but they can kiss,lick, suck and fuck just as good as anybody else - if it's your thing -shout it from the rooftops !grin!.

Oh I totally agree with that Samara. The wider media and page 3 has this idea that everyone just wants skinny, young women. A lot of people who like larger ladies are then embarrassed to admit they do because of social conditioning and pressure on what conventional beauty is supposed to look like.

That's where porn actually leads the wider media, it does cater for every taste, where the fashion world, glamour world, lads mags etc just pump out their idea of what a hot woman looks like and then hit repeat.

The choices porn gives someone like me who doesn't have a set preference or type, my brain either says hot or not regardless of size, age or ethnicity, is really great. I can choose a product and see one type of girl, then choose another one and see a different type of woman.

I guess that's why this kind of incorrect marketing, another example is Asian babes dvds that have Italians and latinos in, really kind of gets my goat.

But I take your point about the production company not being able to source the girls to fulfil the brief set by the execs, in the UK.

But Nasty, in truth, its not so different hun. Because companies are under pressure to cater to majority, so from modelling side of things, spaces for the unconventional are very limited, and alot of the girls get totally disheartened and quit, because they arent getting the work, because its limited area, for every 20 conventional shoots, there will only be one niche shoot! because the bigger companies who are commissioning production companys to produce and the big companies producing their own content, are under the same illusions as lads mags, page 3, glamour! so they have a minority niche to throw in something unconventional, but most production will be based on the majority consensous! It isnt bad marketing, as all points Ive raised are very true.

So companies are very limited. and the thing is production costs alot of money and time, and the problem is as the majority or its thought the majority like a certain kind of something, it may well of had a variety of not thin aka 6 - 8 but curvy, big and bbw woman in it, to cater to the mass! some guys thinks a girl is 'big' if she isnt a size 6 or cehrly cole body replica, some guys think a size 12 like me is huge! and some guys truely love bbw, the production of this couldve been aiming at many different guys ideas, other wise some people just might not of viewed altogether! and if your putting time and effort and finance into production, it has to sell. If a large number of guys, used their voice, spoke and said you know what, we want only a geniuen bbw production and the production company knew that, that would sell and make money, they would do that. and Im sure this thread, will of already formatted some new ideas with quite a few people.

Guy's when things like this arise, need to constructively keep making these posts, because then it will affirm that you know what, this will sell, that will sell and then you will get more of what you want.
