Being Treated Completely Unfairly by Bluebird
Being Treated Completely Unfairly by Bluebird
A short while ago I posted a request on this forum because Bluebird had cut my subscription short and were not responding to my attempts to contact them. I heard the response from Hywatt and tried contacted again but to not avail so I'd almost got to the point of giving up. But since then Hywatt accused me of being a fraudulent customer without any attempt to ascertain my credentials on the sole basis I had only posted a few times before. I have only posted recently because of these problems [every previous site I have dealt with have been courteous and honest] but have been a forum member for years. I'm not sure what angers me most - his lies in response to a genuine request for help or the fact that my posts and the subsequent responses [thank you to all those who responded] were removed from the forum on his say so. I don't know how to prove my honesty other than putting my details out publically - my email is shouv11ghosh@hotmail - if Hywatt had actually checked this on his records he might find I do exist although he would still probably deny it - I will stop posting now as the forum isn't designed for this sort of mud slinging.

To take your last point first, no it isn't.
Your thread was removed not because we think you are a fraud - your posting history suggests otherwise - but because of all the attendant mud-slinging which we are not prepared to waste our lives moderating.
In future, anyone wishing to use the British Girls Forum to raise or complain about an issue with a membership site will have to include the membership name and/or email address used for the site in question - something you neglected to do until now. This will allow the admin of the site concerned to speedily confirm the validity of the complainant and the nature of the problem.
It will also discourage bogus complaints and assure the goodwill of any webmasters, such as those at Bluebird, who take the trouble to respond. Any complaints posted which do not include these details will be removed. Posts using derogatory, inflammatory or potentially libellous language in relation to any issues raised will also be removed.
The problem with allowing these sorts of posts at all is that it can be tantamount to naming-and-shaming, in as much as the burden of proof is immediately placed upon the party being accused rather than the accuser, which is inherently unfair. If this new procedure doesn't work in a satisfactory manner we will just bar these sorts of posts altogether. As you say, this really isn't what the forum is meant for.
Please don't take it personally if this thread disappears in the near future. This is simply an attempt put this matter in some sort of context before moving on.

Thanks for the response - at least I understand where you are coming from - my intention wasn't to name and shame just to seek advice originally - I do think the forum has a use in providing advice for those who don't get help directly from the site but I appreciate it isn't its main function
Re: Being Treated Completely Unfairly by Bluebird
don't post usernames and email address's on forums ffs, opening yourself to fraud
can't believe the bgafd mods are really suggesting this!
