I didn't know she was out and its a bit surprising its taken 10 months for the news to be posted on here.Just been doing my arithmetic, if she had a 4 year sentence i calculate she got approx a third off. But I seem to think sentence may have been 4 years 9 months, if so she served just over half of it. Seemingly there's no chance of her returning to porn.

Hi Paul,

You may have heard of a porn star from Derby called Laura Hermansen. She and Melissa worked together a number of times and if you do that you probably have an association away from porn. Laura is now retired, also aged about 30, and I wonder if her and Melissa are still in touch. I have no idea what Laura is up to now - she used to work as a fitness instructor and is probably back doing that. I hope her life never wet downhill like Melissa's, according to you, has done.

Some girls get into porn as they had difficult issues with men growing up, they were either mistreated or neglected and they think all the denied adulation can be made up for by doing something where men will really want them - namely in a sexual way. Based on what you said Max, and personal experience knowing a fair number of porn stars and ex ones, it is fair to say that a lot of the girls in the business unfortunate to have an "arsehole of a boyfriend" did so because of poor judgement where men are concerned.

They claim to know what men are really about based on their lascivious interests in them when in fact, men can be as complex as women in some cases and shouldnt be painted as the same

The kind of guys that are good for them dont get a look into or are easily exploited and put off but then the opposite is quite true as well as in, a lot of normal, nice guys that are good for these girls cant handle the fact the girl they "love" has done porn either

Its hard to have sympathy for those guys because they shouldve thought about that before they got involved with them.
