I have always used my real name 'Kim', people ask my how anyone will know its me but they do. Because i have always used just my first name it does affect listings etc & that why there is hardly any info of me on this site but my audience always find me quite easy. Looking back if i had known i would still be here 12 years down the line i might have picked a more fancy stage name.

Killergram christened me "Shay Hendrix" and i love my porn name! They asked me what i wanted it to be and i had no idea, so we tried the cliched "first pets name and mothers maiden name". Turns out Gerty Grice ain't so sexy!!! !wink! So i decided against dirty Gerty and went with Killergram's suggestion.
I wasn't gonna use a porn name when i started out, i hadn't thought that far ahead if i'm honest! But i'm glad of it now. !grin!

In the US the famous pornstar Ginger Lynn (her real name) actually has a name that works well as a porn name. Her full name is Ginger Lynn Allen and she was one of the first porn stars ever.

I would love to know where some porngirls get their names from. I think the lovely Poppy Morgan got hers because Poppy was her nickname as a kid and Morgan is the name of Darren Morgan who she was married to (I read all of this recently in interviews with her, for which there are links to on her Wikipedia page).

My other favourite pornstar, Laura Hermansen, is an enigma. Laura is her real first name, but the surname is not so easy to suss out why she picked it - unless 'her man' is a sexual reference (Laura shags her man in a movie). I'm clutching at straws here! Does anyone know why Laura chose that surname?
