Do you guys resubscribe to these. I have a dodgy analogue cable box and get these free. They are so rubbish that I wouldn't dream of resubscribing. It's always repeats of the back of some birds head giving a BJ.

Can someone tell me why you can get DVDs of the real thing in this country but not on cable

Simple - because Ofcon do not believe that the current PIN and/or other technology is sufficient to protect childern from harm from R18 equivalent strength material, even though this would be (and is if you believe the propaganists) broadcast when they are tucked up in bed and asleep and that you as a parent cannot be trusted. Of course we all know that there is absolutely no evidence of harm what-so-ever.

And you can get hardcore in the UK, just not from a UK broadcaster. Go with a European system and there it is. Now if this is 'causing harm to minors', why are these channels not proscribed and banned? Well unfortunately for the Government, hardcore is now legally on sale as R18 classification across the counter from more than 120 licensed sex shops. Any future claim by the Government that hardcore will seriously impair the development of children is likely to be met with the retort from the European court along the lines of "so why is it available for sale in UK shops?" So they just ignore it and carry on acting as a 'nanny state'.

So I can go and buy a vid and they trust me not to leave it anywhere in the house where kids could see it in the afternoon when I'm at work but they don't trust me not to tell them my pin number and give them access to the TV in the middle of the night.

I was with the adult channel for 10+ years..cancelled my subscription about 18months ago and haven't missed it one bit..I will only ever re-subscribe if they go hardcore..don't have kids/don't want kids...it's still crazy that the age of consent is 16 but you have to be 18 to buy anything showing 2 people having sex!?

Surely the fact that anyone can see the freeviews of these channels makes a mockery of the whole thing . anyone with half a brain can see what is going to happen when it goes "after midnight" I used to catch my little nephew watching the freeview, which was funny , when he went all embarrassed. i had to tell him off tho.

From what I've seen the freeview is no different to the rest of it. I wouldn't waste my money. If I wanted to spend money looking atthe back of some girls head I could go to the cinema and catch a movie at the same time
