Perhaps because your contribution was a single word - my name, the name which appears on a poster in the film I have latterly referred to - whatever - best wishes, no offence intended, I'm sure you're a great person regardless of our apparent lack of agreement on this,

yours,
Whatever.

Hey Whatever,

I had a word with Andi, who does our movie ripping/encoding, and he explained the lack of interview/extras on Jailhouse Cock.

We got the DVD literally hot off the press, before it was in any of the shops, and also before they'd added any of the extras. Now we know what's missing, we'll endevour to get hold of the proper 'shop copy' from Doll Theatre, and add the extras as a final scene, as we usually do.

If you email me your registration email, I'll sort you out with a free movie credit as a thankyou for bringing this to our attention. It's always good to have intelligent feedback, and know what we could improve.

AJ

Because you're going to get a nice T shirt and perhaps some shorts too (when we've printed them).

I've met JS, and believe me, you don't want to see him in hotpants. !sick!

OK, after discussion in-house, we've drafted a policy statement. We've never had a policy statement before, and we're so proud of it that we've decided to share it with you. !pleased!

"At Strictly Broadband it is our policy to provide all of the footage that you would find on the DVD, as if you had bought it from a shop. However, we do not provide trailers, cross-sells and adverts. We will even try to remove advertising from the beginning, end, and during the movie. We feel this detracts form the quality of the product we wish to offer. In some instances this cannot be done, as it would also remove footage, in these cases we leave the advert(s) in, and will even inform the studios that we feel this weakens their product, and your ability to enjoy it.

With regards to bonus scenes and extra footage, we enjoy this content and really want to provide it for our customers, but there are instances where we will not be able to provide it:

We often receive pre-release DVDs, this is so the distributor can release the DVD both online and in the shops at the same time. These pre-releases sometimes do not contain the extra/bonus footage. In some cases the content is hidden as a DVD 'Easter Egg', in most cases this footage is found, but sometimes it can be missed. The process by which the scenes are created is a manual one, and in some instances extra content can be missed, certainly some of the older DVDs on the site do not contain this content, because the content-encoders at the time did not include it. Finally and it is rare, but on some occasions a distributor will ask that the extra footage is not included, because they want you to buy the actual DVD. In this case we cannot provide you the content, although we will try to reason with them, and will even come back to it at a later date.

In all the cases above (even for the last, some time after it has been released), if we are told about the omission, then we are sorry, and will endeavour to get those bonus scenes and extra footage onto the site, as soon as possible."

Jerry,
Any time you want me to don a Strictly Broadband vest and hotpants for promotional purposes then you only have to ask.
I warn you though - I don't get out of bed for less than a grand!

You drive a hard bargain. Let me repeat my earlier points:

1) I won't go any higher than a pack of hob nobs (without chocolate)
2) If you ever put on a Strictly Broadband vest and hotpants, I'll have no alternative but to take legal action

So I'm guessing that's a no to the vest and hotpants offer.
Or are you just scared you might like it?

Well, I guess it must have been worthwhile my making a few vague observations if it has led to your very good 'policy statement'. I thought a few people would read my post, maybe with a couple of responses and that would be that. Thanks for being so customer focused.
