satellite / sky etc

Post by mex »

guys,

What is the best channel to subscribe to? At present I only have "normal" telly + a "freeview" box (which lists "tvx" and "redhot" as it's xxx channels).

Where do I start/ what do I do?

thanks
mex

I agree with the other replies you have received; unless you actually want softcore, for that is all that they show, forget about ALL UK ‘adult channels’.

FYI, Spice Platinum has changed to Private Spice, and, unsurprisingly, has been showing lots of material from Private recently – great channel, and they show the HC versions of the SC material shown on the UK channels, if UK productions is your area of particular interest.

I disagree with Marty McFly about Sexview – it used to be very good in terms of content, showing a wide variety of (mainly) recent release material, even if picture quality was rarely better than OK – Unfortunately, they have launched a new 12 channel package this weekend, and so far, content has been poor, and PQ is awful – early days, so they might sort things out (I hope so!)

Marty is correct with regard to InXtc – absolute rubbish, IMO!

Remember also, that Euro channels are not limited to R18, they show fully uncensored consensual adult HC. Subs are quite often less expensive than those of the UK channels, so use the money you would have, IMO, wasted on the UK channels, and use it to get a satellite system for Hotbird.

IMO, the UK channels do not deserve the continued support from subscribers as they have done little or nothing to fight Ofcom censorship.

However if you have freeview or cannot erect a movable dish, as is limited by many tenancy agreements you are in a word, screwed. We need to press the UK providers to challenge, not cop out.

BTW I agree, TVX is tame and Redhot is actually nowt but TVX shows with different names spread over 8 channels.

Hi Mex

I had a 1 metre stearable dish satellite. system since 1987, and the european stuff was so much better. It was mainly from Hot satellite not the SKY sat. I wouldn't touch the soft UK stuff. They always make the adverts so teasing but once you get inside it is such a let down. Bit like the old days in Soho !grin!

In those days it was analogue transmissions and it cost about ?25 for a pcb wich a chip on it which lasted for years, until the channel changed its scrambling pattern.

There was also Super channel and the Bravo movie channel, I also watched live news feeds from the first Iraq war from the satellite at 27W.

Anyhow I fully agree with the other people, unless you are just starting out in porn !grin! avoid the UK ones.

If you are unable to have a dish installed because of your tenancy agreement, you can always torrent!
