I have just got hold of an old 70s U.S. porno titled Little Oral Annie, and although it contains full penetration and anal scenes the way they perform it seems so much sexier than what is churned out thesedays, and the girls with their stockings and suspenders and unshaven pubes now these were real women, maybe porn does need to look back and get some inspiration before it can go forward.

Good point. Trouble is when a lot of the current day ladies get into lingerie you can tell it's the first time they've ever been out of the tracky bottoms and trainers and they look about as natural as a rugby prop forward in drag.

Your missing Dibbles and indeed my point Samsung. Dibble is probably (unfortunately) right in his outlook. Therefore quality will ONLY deminish and porn will ONLY become more worthless. And if there ain't no money in it, where else can it go ?

Thats a bit harsh Alex but i do get your meaning, and its up to producers to find the right girls to perform, find the ones who do have a bit of class and there are still a few about and like i said before look at those older films where the girls just getting undressed was enough to get your pulse racing unlike todays films where the girls whip their kit off and get straight down to it, Now a smartly dressed girl who isnt spitting and swearing like a footballer and a nice slow build up so by the time you get to see the girl perform your cock is so stiff its hurting now thats what i would call a good porno, anyone can make a fuck film but we seem to have forgotten about class which at the end of the day will always be a winner.

Unless you can back up your statement, with that 'm refering to your point about 'contemporary porn being of no interest to hardly anyone', then your post is nothing but you trying to enforce your own tastes on everyone else. Porn is more lucrative now than it ever was, so all these people are simply having their money forced out of their pockets?

Just because you don't like something doesn't mean the people who do are 'poor souls' for simply not subscribing to the Officer Dibble's own personal preference.

If find your post most offensive than the pornography you seem to on a crusade against.

If you don't like it, buy something else and shut up.

And let's not forget, Private make some of the most explicit hardcore material out there. I have a whole bunch of private titles from various lines and each one, whether it be a big production or not, is filled with Gapers, Gangbangs and A2Ms.

When we talk about ‘ATM’s’, ‘cream pies’ and, er, ‘gapers’. as OD puts it, we can't be refering to the UK industry, because all these things are rarely present.

I believe there's so much stuff out there that there's enough for everybody, so all this constant complaining is tiresome. It's like me raving on about how popular/chart music is complete trash and how everyone who listens to it is a 'poor soul with no life' and how music is a dying art, yet I don't because there's clearly a demand for it and there's plenty of music out there to suit my taste so why should I care what's popular and what's not?

If people wanna listen to Will Young or whatever else I couldn't give two shits, so why do you people care if porn fans wanna watch porn that's not to your taste? I'm really interested in your answers.

To be honest with you luke I don't particular give a shit what you like to watch, its your choice and if that's what you like fair enough, but what bothers me is when producers etc listen to the opinions of people who make big noises.

Just because people make their opinions known a lot doesn't make their view correct. Unfortunately I believe that producers cater for opinions given and requests made in the belief that these opinions are what everybody wants from the market.

In my opinion what most don't realise is that forums like these are for 'real' porn fans, people who have an opinion on the industry but in reality the majority of viewers of the product are 'armchair viewers' who don't know they exsist and keep their opinions to themselves.

People make noises with their wallets!!!

If I were a producer, which I am not who would I be listening to? the mass of 'armchair viewers' who buy my product or the small collection of so called "real" porn fans who can't do nothing but moan about the state of pornography on internet forums.

Everytime I read this forum I always get the impressive it's stuck in a time warp. Alot of the regulars here just seem to want porn of yester year, a bit of bump and tickle. That in itself is perfectly fine, what is not though is that these is always fucking moaning about other genres and trends. If you don't like Evil Angel, there's always Adam & Eve.

I consider myself a real porn fan, yet here I'm an outsider apparently. If I like something I buy it, it's that simple.

Perhaps one of the reasons the UK industry struggles so much is because it's listening to people on this forum just a bit too much?

I?ve been thinking about this a lot recently, especially after buying a product that was allegedly the way forward but left me wondering if that?s the case then god help us.

I honestly believe that for the industry to progress it has to take a huge step backwards.

But before that it has to realise that forums like these and the views expressed on them, as brilliant as they are, aren?t the opinions of the entire adult viewer.

I disagree with the view that the internet is the way forward and that DVD is on the way out, I believe that the ?average? porn fan, the person watching the likes of TVX etc, wants to watch their porn on the TV in the comfort of their living room.

Most don?t buy UK DVD?s in my opinion for three reasons:

They won?t go into sex shops
They don?t know where to buy them online
But the biggest is they think if they buy UK they will be ripped off and get the softcore they get when buying ?hard? on the UK satellite channels.

In my opinion the way forward is for the industry to max out R18 make the programmes the BBFC allow, cater for the satellite style and show them that the bad reputation the industry has isn?t the reality.

Boring I know for most Forumlites but UK porn will only progress when it wins over the BBFC and it allows stronger content on satellite and the sale of the product online and in turn the adult industry shows it can contribute significantly to the wealth of the economy.

Once the industry makes money it will have to make good products to survive and will have the resources to do it.
