Web Site Video Quality

As a member of lots of video driven websites i was wondering what other websites come recommended for quality where video is concerned.

I am more interested in full scenes that can be downloaded either as a full movie or clips

British websites please!

Jimslip.com has high quality WMV's at 2mbit/s bitrate, very good quality indeed.

LadySonia.com also has high quality WMV's, some even at 3mbit/s bitrate, also very good quality.

From the sites where ive been a member, for actual video quality (resolution/bitrate/sharpness blah), these 2 are probably top for me.

The trouble with video on the internet is the sheer size of the amount of info you require .
You will not get any where near the quality of dvd on the net for quite a while but you will get a watchable picture on your comp if you go for webites offering downlaods above 700
You can however do a few things to make it better viewing
1 If it appears in either window player or other players as a small size clip then right click over the video and press full screen
2 Nobody sits and watches telly 2ft away from it so push your comp chair back and watch it from a bit further awat from the comp
The results will shock you.

Now that more and more people can get 2Mb/s broadband, I'm offering a 1.5Mb/s full screen quality on my sites now This allows a bit of slack for the fact that most people can't actually get true 2Mb/s and means, in most places, you can watch in real time without having to download first.

Try our DivX Home theatre movies (1364 dual pass) quality they are as close to DVD as you will get and being AVI's they can be burned to CD/DVD to watch on TV if your player supports DivX playback and most do now. Full screen PC/Mac buy what you want when you want by enough and we will even give you a complimentary pass to one of our pay sites how's that !!
