May be a silly question, but what does POV stand for in film titles?

that's not entirely correct. POV is simply a style of camerwork, not a genre. There are far more Gonzo movies that aren't filmed POV than are.

Gonzo is not the same as POV.

Gonzo is the wider term for all pornos filmed in the more informal style where the cameraman is an acknowledged part of the action....eg. Ben Dover, Buttman etc....

POV is a niche where the action is filmed from the point of view of the guy fucking the girl.....
