What happened to stockings and suspenders?

I find that the problem with stockings is that they ladder too much! I tend to use them for one shoot then they have ladders and holes in them and i have to throw them out. At 8-10 quid a go for a decent pair this can obviously turn out quite expensive.

However, i have been wearing them a bit more in recent times.

Also, Tales of the Unexxxpected (Dolltheatre) has a 4 girl scene starring myself, Taylor Morgan, Suzy Best and Charlie H and i know a few of us were wearing stockings so keep an eye out for the release date for that

So what about this shortage of stockings and suspenders then. Come to think of it....Most of my shoots if not all have had girls wearing some such and thigh length boots etc...You obviously haven t been looking in the right places Alex.

Maybe i've just been looking at the big name stuff you find in the local porn parlours. Ben Dover, "Union Jaxx", "Road caravan" or whatever it is. I don't think I've seen a pair of stockings in one of their films in the last 6 years.

I must beg to differ! Certainly most of the British girls I've worked with seem to instinctively see the appeal of wearing stockings, when they change into said clobber, their personality changes as well. I don't go for the pristine stocking & suspender look and you will find most of the girls have gaping holes in the ensembles...............this is just my own thing.

The foreign girls of course do not see the point at all and i would agree with you, they think such items are daft. That's why to me the foreign girls may be beautiful...............but they're SO DAMN BORING!

I don't think I have done a single shoot without the model in Stockings, granted not all the girls have em but I always have a stash.

I knew it! I knew it! These are sad times for erotica indeed.

Of course the problem with putting a model in stockings who is totally unaccustomed and alienated from lingerie is that they never look quite right, there's a very subtle underlying stiffness and awkwardness that comes over in the photo. A bit like when geezers don dresses and try to pass themselves off as women - it never quite works. You don't just need to be female to successfully wear stockings, you need the correct feminine personality and attitude, and I regret that today?s young women have very different personalities and attitudes to those of the previous stocking wearing generations. You only have to look at a straight British movie from the 70?s; the difference in the way women acted and carried themselves back then is quite startling. They were much softer, feminine, sensual, coy, and consequently, more attractive to yer average geezer.

This is why I throw my hands up in despair at matters adult nowadays. It's not just a question of buying a model a pair of stockings; that won?t fix it. The problem is far deeper than that.
