Well Marc, speaking from a metaphysical point of view, I do believe that the symbolism of, per se, the cow pen, defines the restraints of womanhood within the confine of society as a whole. Furthermore I would suggest that the addition of a dried up cow-pat perhaps fashioned into a piece of head-ware may have accentuated the lot of womankind. I certainly believe the addition of some fossilised dead farm yard animals would also have added a sense of "Je ne sais quoi" to the proceedings.
