Fiona Cooper closing down

He is called Sutcliffe. There is no reason to feel sorry for him, but it would be a pity if all the stuff he shot would become unobtainable. Almost every well-known British porn star (Layla-Jade, Laura Turner, Jane Whitehouse, Louise Hodges, Wendy Taylor, ...) features in at least one Fiona Cooper video.
Perhaps Mr. Sutcliffe is willing to sell his business?

By the way, I just had a look at Fiona Cooper's website: no mention of the approaching catastrophe whatsoever. The one and only announcement is in the January catalogue.

The cynic in me thinks it is a good way for him to boost sales, and he'll decide not to close "due to popular demand" once the sales are through the door.

Great!, then everyone,s happy. it,s not cynical, it,s business, I have watched several FC films, they have a certain charm about them, and I agree they have had some great girls in them, but ultimatly(SP) they were bobbins...especially with that dip-in dip-out sound track going on.

I have bought quite a few FC videos over the years. Customer service was always very good, but after a while the did become rather same-y.

I really resented all this "Fiona Cooper" business after I found out about Sutcliffe via this site. I actually believed there was a "Fiona Cooper", there seemed no reason not to, and it was quite nice to deal with a real person! At least I never sent "her" Valentine's cards like some poor schmucks.

Once I found out about what Sutcliffe had been up to I just did not fancy putting money in his pocket. Maybe others thought the same?

I have not heard from Spirit for a while, are they still going?

He offered it to some associates of mine, back in the late 90's, for ?2,000,000. Luckily they weren?t able to raise that kind of dough, at that time. Maybe Sooty saw the writing on the wall back then? Maybe he sensed that the age of the desirable feminine glamourpuss was drawing to a close and the age of the scraggy porn chaver was at hand? - FC type punters (and I would venture, chaps in general) have little interest in what passes for a female entertainment models nowadays.

Anyhow, the firm's probably not worth jack at the moment, though if he wanted to donate his mailing list I wouldn't say no. One did get a sense that the firm was being run down though, a sense of desperation - slashing the prices, offering 3 different models for next to nothing, apparently using any desperate female willing to take her togs off - no matter how unsuited they were to that role. Then there was all that Spirit palaver - another ill conceived and desperate attempt to get the train back on the tracks - they had no chance, all the had to offer was contemporary porn chaver - which, like I said, holds no real appeal to chaps nowadays. If you?re going to go down the FC route to making money, you have to use girls who would appeal to ordinary blokes as gorgeous fantasy girlfriends, and the only tape of adult models available right now (in the UK at least) don't fit that bill anymore.

Maybe, this 'closing down sale' will last for years - like those shops on the High St that have had Closing Down sale signs in the window since time immemorial.

Yeah it's true, Fiona Cooper is sadly closing down. Having been a customer for quite a few years, I can say the service can't be faulted and the numerous models (and non-models) can't be overlooked, some real gems there, plus some ladies who only did one video and then moved on, there back catalogue is astonishing. I might be biased though, I knew a girl who did 2 videos (Donna Langton) which was a nice bonus.
It will be missed.
The latest January catalogue is the last - it is also a sale one, so last chance to buy.
