Advice Please......

Could any one give me some advice about harrassment from a person,and what i should do about it?
I know ignore the buggar,but its a real pain keep getting calls witholding there number!!

Change your phone number or get on to BT, NTL or whoever your phone line provider is, and tell them you want to report nuisance calls.
If they turn up on your doorstep, call a cop.

The police will talk bollocks in a patronising manner for 20 minutes and offer a turdsworth of advice.
The only thing you can hope for is a crime reference.
BT or NTL will however, do something about it.
They did for me at least.

I don't answer withheld numbers either because I think if it's someone who knows me or I know them they wouldn't be hiding their number. But it's worth remembering some companies automatically have their number withheld eg a call centre, so if you use your phone for business you would have to answer it really. I have an application on my mobile whereby if someone withholds their number it sends them straight to answer machine or cuts them off at the first ring
