Why whenever this subject is brought up, Andrew Blake is mentioned.Talk about one extreme to another. Andrew Blake makes sanitised, Coca Cola, American crap. Insipid, blondes being fucked in slow motion by even more insipid studs. Its called artistic 'cause someones shoved a blue light on and everyone's wearing something made of rubber.
Its a bit like Tanya Hyde stuff, same thing again, everything strobed and in slo-mo and the whole lot smeared in "porno-rock" musak. Chuck a few nuns in and everyone's calling you a genius!
You can have gonza which is fun,erotic and not abusive to women. Mind you, I don't know where you can get it.

I agree with you which is why I put it in my original post. It is market forces and each to their own.

My post was more to how far the boundaries would be strectched but then what one person thinks is obscene another might find erotic.

But as I said originally where does it all end?

It's the human contact that's important to me - I like very hard stuff and beautiful elegant soft stuff but what turns me on in all of it is seeing two or more people ignite each other's passions - chemistry and communication. I think if you can see women obviously and genuinely getting off on what they do then it doesn't matter if its a gang bang with ten anals, fistings, peeing or whatever, you know it's something they are doing because they enjoy it. As an observer of this forum for over a year now, but only recently a contributor. How come the only people EVER mentioned in a favourable light on almost every subject related to porn are in popularity order, 1/ Bendover, 2/ Marino and 3/ One Eyed Jack.

I wouldn't dare to suggest anything negative about the above, God knows what would happen to me! But surely there must be others who make good porn as well.

Does anyone dare to suggest any alternatives?

Well outside of the UK there are people like John Root who have made (though he seems quiet lately) cutting edge stuff. In the US Sal Paradise's stuff (littlemutt.com) is consistently good - especially compared to the mainstream rubbish. Unfortunately most of the "newer" stuff I've seen lately in the UK seems to be too busy trying to copy the US mainstream stuff rather than finding it's own voice - I'd love to see something really new and if anyone can mention some I'll be only too pleased to check it out - at the moment though I have to say the Road Trips for me represent the cutting edge over here.
