Do you have a camera and editing kit sorted? Any lighting/filming/editing experience?

Going straight into shooting something you want to sell is a very expensive way of learning the trade.

Get some books from Amazon (or wherever) on basic video and apply those simple lessons, you'll save yourself a lot of hassle. Practice filming other stuff before you start filming models who will want paying large sums of cash.

Hi all,

Thanks for the support, and the words of confidence. And seriously thanks for all the other words.

Just to put some people at ease, i'm currently a film student at college, just about to finish my last year.

I have made several short films and have been involved in many shoots.

I have alot of experience in pre-production - planning, budgeting, scheduling, storyboarding etc.. Production - setting up the equipment, lights camera, talking to the actors and working closely with them. Post-Production - editing and after effects and sound.

i also have a dv camcorder and hopefully enough skills and knowledge to have some idea of what i'm doing.

I'm a great user of porn and would like to make my own. I really admider Steve Perry, his is the man, but i have a few ideas that could take another direction.
