I didn't think it would happen when the guys from Porn Icon UK came to me with the idea about a new web site where they will give ?1 Million away to one lucky member.

Well this week they have done it, launched www.porniconuk.com where you can win ?1 Million for sending in the best home made porn movie, and even better still I have arrange for them Alicia Rhodes to front the site and the lucky winner will also have the chance to make a porn movie with the award winning Alicia. (Of course they have to have all the health checks required)

Now I know out there main of you budding porn producers may like the idea of sending in you home movie, but with the chance to win ?1 Million, 5 Star holidays or to star in a film with Alicia it is even more tempting.

Umm...where is this ?1 million coming from? More to the point, how do they propose to recoup this sizeable initial outlay? Especially if all the material they receive is fairly amateurish/poorly shot?

Call me a cynic, but it just sounds too good to be true.....

Also being the cynic I am, I agree with DanG. Who are these people, where is the funding coming from, and more importantly who is going to be a reliable independent adjudicator that the prize has actually been paid out.

Now only a real cynic may suggest it is a good way to gather a large number of email addresses!!

I am not for a moment pretending I know the inner workings of the adult industry but surely a company that no one has heard of cannot offer that sort of money?
I wonder if Alicia's legal people may be interested in the using her name, I just get a feeling she knows nothing about it.
