DavidS: This is not an unsubstantiated rumour as far as I am aware. I also was booking a shoot and the agent told me that the 2 guys I wanted to use, had been there. These 2 guys are extremely active talent in the porn world.

So if anyone wants to know who they are, because it effects YOU personally, then ask an agent.

To anyone in the business: All do your own investigations into who you are employing as Talent and don't leave it to someone else (Kitten Kong) to find out the information you should be finding out for yourselves.

I suggest that if anyone is in any way worried about who they are working with, just ask one of the agents. I would think that in the current climate (USA HIV scare) that each and every performer should be checking who they have been working with, have they been to the states and check with the agent too, don't just take the other persons word for it. AND if you're not sure then use condoms.

By the way, no one is suggesting that by stepping foot on Brazilian soil that you should be hung drawn and quartered! But in the current climate, I think this is an extremely relevant posting
'Fun for all and all for fun'!

Denise wrat "you are dead as soon as you catch the virus "

No you are not. Triple combination therapy can arrest the spread of the virus in the majority of cases. Several of my friends are HIV positive, many have been for twenty years or more. They are likely to live just as long as people without the virus, though only by taking around 40 pills (many with nasty side-effects) a day.

Of course the spread of HIV should be curtailed at every opportunity and no-one would wish the virus on anyone, but to desribe it as a "death sentence" is simply factually untrue here in the Industrialized World in the 21st Century.

It was not my intention to suggest that the information supplied by Kitten Kong was unsubstantiated. I was merely pointing out that Alec and Woodgnome have difficult judgements to make.

Death sentance maybe not, but it certainly compromises your life style.

And dead to the world as far as public opinion and attitude towards infected people...no the attitude is not right but it's still generally there!
