The Pop Idol mentality has a lot to do with it, whereby anything that takes effort and talent to acheive, simply isn't worth doing.

When you combine this with the latest breed of 'net models, who have had so much bullshit "advice" from the prints for time brigade who'll tell them anything to get a freebie, the girls actually start to believe that a shoot is about them, for them, and only they matter.

It is possible for a girl to make a reasonable living, at least better than a McJob wage, with only a little effort and a lot of professionalism.

Hi All

Most girls who appear on this site are quite independent of agencies, as things stand today any sensible girl will be try to make there own way in the industry.
I agree people not turning can be a pain but the blame is not always on the models as i've had film crews not turn up for a shoot before, i only made a couple of films for other people when i started but realised some think along the same lines as Peter. I now don't work for people but do with them as an equal.

I am here on this, there are a few fantastic girls that always turn up, call if running late and work hard, but there are a few that don't see this as a professional job. It is, with good money to be made for the right ones who are looking at a longterm career.......it is out there if you work hard and I will have some interesting news about this soon, which I will post here and on the home of UK adult news

Hi Guys N Girls,

I've been in this business now for around 2/ half years and I Love it!
I Love being a Porn Star and truely don't understand why girls don't turn up. I personally can't understand the 'lazy work attitude'.

I'm not rich yet but still working on it, I can honestly say I hate being late for a shoot and always phone if trains are messed up etc.

I can see myself doing anything else and make every effort to do my job well and be reliable.

Havn't had this problem myself. Normally I would say I have a 95% turn-up rate. I think using a good agent, like Ian at Walpole helps as he is the only person who will ALWAYS sort out a problem! Ok will you give me a discount now Ian. LOL

I turn up for shoots im booked and if i get delays on travel ect i phone, as im still new to the exciting world i grab what work i can. although i tend to find that the odd one or two photographers cancel last min and once i travelled to a shoot and didnt get met so its not just us girls that have a
lazy attitude.
