Snotty bastards.

A good point has been raised here by knave editor in that the Obscene Publications Act has not changed as of yet, it has just been relaxed. A conviction is not the problem (Sec2) it's the ball ache of a Section 3 destruction order that causes the problem. Having said that I would never accept a destruction order especially for anal sex and would apply for trial by section 2.

I believe that if consumers stopped buying of W H Smiths they would have no option but to stock a harder range of titles.

I doubt WH Smiths would even care!

I can't see lost sales of wank material being a big factor in their bottom line.

But as WHS is an 'establishment' chain, they'd probably lose more sales from 'respectable' customers if they did stock harder material, so that sceanario seems highly unlikely.

The Dutch are an entirely different (more civilised) species to Homo surbitonensis.

And I agree JJ, why should it be that consenting adults should not be able to buy what they wish from where ever they wish. Look at how fast the video market has changed in the UK over recent years. Very soon the R18 will become a guideline for consumers as to what they are about to purchase rather than a compulsary certification.

I don't know if you've noticed but the UK has adopted every shit law passed by the EC whilst every good law has to be fought for through the European Courts.

Consumers throw a lot of shit at David Sullivan and the Gold's but if it wasn't for them fighting our corner the UK consumer would be a lot worse off.

Now that should get you all going!

The Goldstar portfolio does show penetration, cum and wet shots as well as anal. They are avaliable in most newsagents. Interestingly the titles which were previously soft ie Parade and Girls in Uniform have now gone hardcore as this is what the market now demands
