given the detailed and helpful nature of the reviews you've submitted thus far, i'd encourage you to submit new ones - even if some of them are a bit on the negative side. and if you feel your experience could possibly be atypical, you can always include that as a proviso in your text.
as long as criticism is constructively presented - i.e. it's not so couched in invective as to be barely distinguishable from the railings of a troll - it's just as valid, if not more so, than the gushing prose of more positive contributions.
a disappointing feature of many of the reviews submitted (and rejected), is the dearth of useful information that they contain. if a site provides poor service and the person on the receiving end doesn't at least outline the nature of the difficulties experienced, it's a hollow exercise in terms of helping others make an informed decision as to who to entrust with their custom.

Re: 9 months and waiting...
I bow to your greater experience of the mail order business. I've absolutely no idea what percentage of people get ripped off by mail order porno. However, I would point out that, unless I'm mistaken (unfortunately, often the case) it is illegal to post porno from within the UK as part of a mail order business and possibly to receive it? If that is the case, how many people would complain about the level of service they get to their local friendly plod?
If JJs experience is typical though, the mail orderindustry seems to be a lot fairer than it used to be.

I disagree
If someone rips you off for ?100 you don't sit there and say "Wonderful people, even tho they took me for ?100". I would much prefer a review saying "Don't send these cunts any money as they will rob you and not send anything".
That's really all I'm interested in. They either rob you or they don't. It's fairly cut and dried. If I burgle your house and take ?100 out of your wallet and you catch me I wouldn't expect you to to sit me down and discuss my problems with me. I'd expect to be called a cunt and punched in the face.

if anyone was asking you to do this then you might have a point but as they're not, you don't.

Re: I disagree
I repeat my comment/offer above.
If you, or anyone, has a genuine beef then let me know & it will be sorted. Telling me it is a waste of time etc is simply self-defeating, unproductive and possibly slanderous.
If someone owed me money, I'd be grateful for all the help I could receive.

Re: I disagree
I don't just 'sit there' and take it: I harrass them in every possible (legal)way: as you say, it's my hard-earned and I WILL get recompense, one way or another.
I just don't assume that they've necessarily ripped-off everyone else too. I do, however, have ways of finding out if they've done just that, but that necessarily takes time........

Re: 9 months and waiting...
The trouble is, Marcus, that this has all dragged on for far too long. In most areas of business, a good reputation is hard to obtain and very easily lost.
And that seems to be what's happened here.
If punters are STILL waiting for their goods now, the damage has already been done. Now I'm sure that Dibsy could 'reinvent' himself (although old hands might spot a few dead giveaways in his PR prose style.....!!) but he will have to absolutely nail down the customer service side of things to stand a 'Chairman in Hell's' chance of succeeding.
In my experience with the 'crash', instead of being repeatedly, unsolicitedly, reassured that mountains were being moved and I was quite simply the most important thing in Dibsy's Angels' lives, I had to chase them up: over MONTHS.
Not good enough. By a long chalk.
Your own efforts have been, in contrast, superlative, when things have (rarely) gone slightly awry in those businesses under your direct care.
Perhaps he ought to adopt a feline? Seems to have worked for you.

Paras. 1 & 2 noted (para. 3 doesn't apply to me- I think).

Re: I disagree
JJ,
The Chairman is THE BOSS.
I totally agree that PR etc cannot easily be repaired, nor am I making any kind of excuse for anyone. However, rather than sit at a keyboard and say "I was ripped off" some of these guys should take advantage of a totally gratuitous offer. If not, then I wonder about them - if the money/goods are unimportant, why moan in public?

Re: 9 months and waiting...
re. point 3 - it certainly doesn't. it was intended as a general observation.
