Hi David, on your first few points re polls: I tend to agree with the article I linked, the margin for error is generally given at +/- 3% so they are still pretty close to eventual outcome. That's the Liebour spin. In the last parliament there were 47 "anti-tory"(Lab + SNP) MP's in Scotland.
At the time of writing, it looks like there will be 57 "anti-tory" MP's.

As I said earlier in this thread I believe that formal coalitions are slightly less favourable than a minority government which has to govern by consensus. There are policy overlaps between ALL of the main parties and it's about time they voted for what we want and not what the "Party" dictates. I ...

Up here the under 25's are a VERY interested group of voters! As for DJ's points I do not think another referendum on independence is likely or called for for 5-10 years to be honest. I believe the will for the majority of Scottish voters would be for home rule/federalism...ie self government with ...
