Is anyone else unable to get on the Ben Dover message board?
It's been down for over a week.

Its' been down a while.

When I saw Ben at BGAFD 3 he said he was getting pissed off with all the stupid comments from one particular person, so he may well have shut the board down for a while.

Whats the url?

Yeah I know who he means as well. Why can't he just ban the ip address of that particular user or the email registration. The board used to be a good place to post on. I'm sure I and the several other regular users would agree.

It doesn't work anymore and just takes you to his website.

It's not that, it's just someone has messed with the program we were using, and crashed the whole thing. They obviously thought it was highly amusing. Anyway the thing is, the program we were using to run it isn't available anymore, so we're currently looking for a new program to use. I would like to get it back, because I do enjoy it, even the posts that have been mentioned previously as being particularly annoying. Hopefully we'll have the situation resolved soon.

I always thought the bloke behind Turku Bentu among others had something of a gift for comedy. I know Golo and others didn't share that view, but on occasion he was able to reduce me to hysterics.

I used Ultraboard on my own site for a while, and it also died inexplicably. I don't think it was sabotage, it's just not a very bombproof piece of software. It's a few years old now, there are better boards out there now.
