A couple of weeks ago I provided a name that had been on Indexxx.com and TED accepted my motion for ID.
That's when I saw that the URL's do not persist onto the changed name.

I kind of understand that XNK unknowns' URL's will be dropped when we find a name to the person, but even in that case, it's troublesome to find which XNK morphed into a named actress.

There should be or should have been some redirect option for these cases because people who have the wrong names on drive will have a hard time adjusting to the new names.

BTW, IAFD has recently(?) created a hash link for all performers and old links don't work (not even the Match Up functionality, which is also dropped by Google SEO), but I expect those hashes now to be perpetual.
Maybe EGAFD should observe some similar naming convention so that links persist on name changes and when unknowns become known performers.

We never had a redirect since the site started more than twenty years ago. And it will not be implemented given that we don't have the manpower to overhaul the page.
There is however a site for identified XNK's, but it was last updated in 2014, and we can't update it anymore.

If a girl was renamed or merged due to a post in the forum, you can simply search for the old name or XNK in the forum.
We also keep track of all merges and renamings, so if you don't find the new entry, you can ask here, and usually we can give you the new profile.

Old links are still working for IAFD, e.g. https://www.iafd.com/person.rme/perfid= ... lanova.htm

If you encounter a dead link, old format or hashed version, the performer was usually merged with another one. But then, the old name is still in the akas of the new, so if you search the aka on IAFD, you will easily find it. Unless the performer was an unknown before, of course.

Same here, when two named performers get merged. The old name will be listed as aka and therefore displayed in the performer index, e.g Kristina A alias for Kristina Bellanova.

The Match Up functionality is still working, however there is a minor glitch if you have to choose the other performer from a list, the you will get an error:


In such cases, just use an aka of the performer which is unique, then it works as usually. Here I searched instead with Dick Nasty's main name with one of his aka's, Peter Lancing. Sometimes you will need to do the search the other way round, e.g. here starting from Dick Nasty's profile and searching for the matchups with Kristina Bellanova. This method however will fail if none of the two performers have unique name or aka.

We already talked about to post all our renamings here in the forum, so that they can be searched by everyone. A decision about this will be made soon.
