Yes, it is a shame - Having been here since day one myself its a shame to see it coming to an end.

However, it must be what the owners want though. Why else allow one single person to run amok and spoil it for everyone?

They can remove posts with certain words in them fast enough...

Hi

Yes it is sad, like many I have been a member since forever. In the old days we had at lease 3 mods and the forum was moderated.

We received a lot of effort from the mods and one thing we never really gave them the thanks they deserved, and in a lot of cases the would receive "An entitled complaint"

Time moves on we have had 20 plus years of the forum, the mods are entitled to a break, what would be good if some person/persons were to take over the moderation and perhaps speak and work with Alec to update the board.

Sadly this is not a job I could do as I work long hours but it would be nice if we could get others involved in the moderation

It is definitely still him as he was also continuing to post snidey remarks in his usual style.
The account ?welldonemods? is also him!
