Putting the term "disorder" after almost anything is a modern trend driven by the fact that psychiatrists, doctors and society in general can't make any money out of somebody with a bad personality, but can if they have an illness which can be treated, at cost.

It's also used by people who want to shift the blame from themselves onto some disease which they contracted through no fault of their own, and which forces them to behave in a certain manner.

In my day anyone rather full of themselves was described as a narcissist. Now, they need to have "narcissistic personality disorder".

Expect this trend to continue. Next time I meet someone who's a twat, I will be sure to describe them as "having being a twat disorder".
