How many of the really well-known porn stars do you see in, since it's the example used, a legal porno scene. I can think of Sienna Day who has done a couple (maybe more?) but i'm struggling then. They will make money because that market isn't catered for by the mainstream and their overheads are significantly lower. There's very little in the way of production involved, no locations, no extras, the 'talent' is from the lower end and therefore willing to do more for less.

Take a look at this tweet from Lucymuse one of the hottest girls around at the moment, she has few overheads but is doing very well for herself.

The point is, porn is subjective and despite people trying to nice it up to what is acceptable, its real appeal is more popular the more wrong it is.

How do you know this? Do any companies publish accurate numbers of their subscribers? Is there a ranking list anywhere?

The people do speak though and it's mainly negative.
