Hi Everyone. We have been sitting on the fence about getting into the industry and just looking for some honest opinions. We do SEO so getting traffic to anything we create is not a problem. Boobsandtits gets over 300k mostly British visitors a month so we would also funnel them to any other site we create too. I guess we are wondering if it is worth it financially. Im not looking to become a millionaire or anything silly but would be nice to earn more than a 9 - 5 doing something id actually enjoy. Any input really appreciated

"Great porn made cheap or free" refers to the concept of economy of scale - if you're doing A LOT of something, it's possible to do it at economical prices. The exact opposite, in fact, from your inference that "there ain't no money in it any more". And if you get something cheap, you have the maximal opportunity to sell it at a profit.

"Free" refers to shared content shoots, a popular arrangement these days. Obviously shared content is not literally "free" since it involves an investment of time and work, but it's "free" of financial input.

Sorry if your own experience differs these days, but here, everything is going swimmingly...

Simple facts cannot be wrong. There are (as far as I know) 3 major (ha!) regular producing companies in the UK. Sure small outfits can 'swim' but I go way back (I started in 1983) and there is no comparison at all from the budgets then to now and thus the profits.

Girls now make their living doing it themselves pretty much via webcam, there are no budgets to shoot anything dished out anymore by anyone. Quality of product is irrelevant (I mean how it's shot not the quality of the material it is shot on). HD is possibly even to good showing up every flaw - thus these girls cover themselves with these awful tats !

We used to make quality that sold for a quality price. Now it's stack it high and sell it cheap rubbish mainly.

And there you have it so not for me unless somebody with money wants me to shoot for them. Trouble with that dream is I keep waking up !!
