Anybody know of any decent studios or places to shoot some boy/girl between London and Nottingham?
(not london studios as I know a few)

I've used Saracen House before in Milton Keynes and can highly recommend it:

^^ I've used Saracen House before, but the last time I made a booking enquiry I was told that they do not allow adult filming there now.
I find hiring apartments the best option sometimes.

ok thanks so far.
Question about using an apartment or hotel room.
Am going to sound stupid but,
you hire the room for a day but of course its only going to be used for a few hours max. wont this cause loads of questions when you hand the key back ?

All the self catering apartments I have used in the past have had a letter box or safe in the building to return the key to. If you book for one night they are not going to check for the key until the following morning.
I sometimes just sleep over where ever I've booked anyway and make a night of it.

Thanks for the reply.
Thing is I would only need a location for a max of 4 hours. Not sure an apartment would be wise.

That depends on how much you plan to pay for those (max) 4 hours. I too mainly use apartments, whether in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol or Nottingham. The ranges for a night stay has been from ?70 to ?180 depending on which city and how many bedrooms for the apartment I chose.
It's worked out extremely well. I like the fact that I can set up my equipment at an easy, relaxed pace before the model arrives. This is unlike rushing around and trying to stay within the confines of a studio booking slot.
And if you're model runs a little late for some reason, you'll have to either shoot less within your time slot or pay for overage (if there isn't another shoot after you).
