Proper awards huh

What does that mean?

I think anybody doing awards will be a proper awards if it is voted or judged on. Where UKAP is concerned I think if any body wins an award from a producers association just endorses what a majority of voters think about those that won

Kai Taylor for example won 2 years running. It wasnt rigged that way, it means that he was the most likeable, efficient and professional person that won. Anyone else in that shortlist wouldve been deemed to be the same way to have made it in the short list. Just the lad pipped the vote

Shaftas did theirs inhouse alone and I think thats a pat on the back to their own.

The Paul Raymond Awards are no more or less valid than any other awards.

I'll reserve judgement on the best Bluebird films inclusion since in fact, it is pretty much their party

ukap do a good do but the industry is crying out for is a award where public can go and much more cats personally i would like to see it more like the ukaftas that marino organised back in the day he had performers at the front fans at the back all seated lots of diff cats we need to invole the public more more as they pay our wages at the end of the day saying proper awards was a bad choice of words on my part for that i apoligise x x

Best BlueBird Film Of The Year sounds well proper to me given that none of those films were made in the year its been voted. Not even in recent years Didnt they win best soundtrack award at the Troxy 6 years ago at UKAFTA?

Yes its nice to see a proper awards that doesnt stroke its own ego being put to a public vote
