Hi,
I?m hoping to contact someone from the UK adult film/video industry (producer? director? performer?) who would like to take part in a live Radio 4 discussion about online pornography. You would need to be available in Central London tomorrow evening (Wednesday June 19). Please let me know if you can help.
Best wishes,
Peter Everett

Re: BBC Radio 4 Moral Maze
BBC Radio 4 Moral Maze describes itself as
"Combative, provocative and engaging live debate examining the moral issues behind one of the week's news stories"
This weeks news story I imagine is removing child porn from the web, which we all agree should happen immediately, however, I can see this debate turning into anyone who supports porn on the web is also supporting child porn on the web, a large minefield to walk into be VERY CAREFUL before agreeing to do a show like this. They never want people in the porn industry to come on to make us look good. That would not make good TV or Radio.

The Moral Maze is usually quite good on this sort of thing, which is why I suggested on the other thread that they ask Anna Span aka Arrowsmith.
I've heard her do Woman's Hour and the Today programme and she got a fair hearing.

This is Radio 4 not ITV! Almost certainly looking for genuine balance
They still have some integrity unlike the majority of the media

Re: BBC Radio 4 Moral Maze
The industry needs to engage and explain. Sir Richard Tilt head of the Internet Watch Foundation, seems to have grasped the distinction between kiddieporn and restricting child access to legitimate grown-up pursuits. See here: on the BBC itself.
I know the BBC is the organ of the establishment and Michael Buerk gets more right wing as he gets older but the MM seems a reasonably polite bunch and will give one a hearing
