Hi
I wanted to post this to warn other models about a very bad experience i had a shoot on Saturday in Birmingham 18th May 2013, which i got from Purestorm
the photographer had 21 good to great references including some top UK models
On arrival at the shoot which was booked for two hours, for solo only
i was met at the door by the photographer who seemed a bit on edge ( which i thought was odd as i have said previous he has worked with models before ...so not his first time ) at his home studio on walking in to the house, i was taken a back by the the very strong smell of what i can only describe as urine, this was then followed by screams and shouts.
which obviously made me feel very uneasy
i was told to wait there and with a few seconds he returned with a very elderly woman who he introduced to me as his mother !
he explained to me that she had 'Senile Dementia' she then started to swear at me an spat in my direction, and was clearly in distress
feeling a bit uncomfortable with all this i made an excuse and headed to the toilet
an called my partner telling him what was happening, he said to me to just leave and keep my phone in my hand in case i needed to make a 'quick call'.
Obviously i, as a professional, did not wanna just walk out, but on leaving the toilet i glanced into the bedroom where the shoot was going to take place, i know this was the venue for the shoot as the outfits and lights etc were set up ( i later found out this was his mothers bedroom !!! )
to my shock an horror i also saw human feces laying on the bed that i was expected to work on
i, feeling sick called for a taxi to get away before i explained to the photographer that i was leaving ( i did it this way round as at least i knew someone was coming and some else other then my partner who was about 200 miles away knew where i was )
i said tho the photographer that i was not happy with the whole set up ie the venue the state of the place and the fact that his very ill mother was also there, which i thought was inappropriate
his response to this was ' its OK, i will lock her in the other room'
again i said NO, i am not working, to which he became sharp and began to talk down to me as if i was the one with the problem and in the wrong
after what seem like a lifetime the taxi arrived and i left ( phew )
all in all this was one of the worst experiences i have had modelling if not the worst
PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS I WOULD HATE ANYONE TO HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS EXPERIENCE .....NOT NICE x
