I am a professional discrete award winning photographer looking to undertake work within the adult industry. I am available to shoot film stills for promotion and marketing (DVD covers etc). I am also open to photographing models/actors within my studio or on set/location.

C'mon 2nfro. Dont be mean. This porn thing is open to any and everybody...As long as your over 18 and willing.

Ive met all sorts coming up in this game...Ive shot 3 weddings myself in one year. Am I to be expelled from the Brotherhood Of The Porn Union?

In the US they call it a cross over. Besides, you can never have too many great photographers who can take a pretty picture or two of the ladies or in my case, couples

Thankyou for your comments. In all honesty I was pointed in the direction of this forum from the directorr of an adult movie production company. He said to make a post enquiring. Yes I do have a business and website for weddings and babies.....but is this not where most photographers begin?? That is not the area of work I am intrested in...but at the moment it is what pays the bills. I want to expand and look at other directions for my career.2nfro wrote:

Welcome to BGAFD, and well done in deciphering one of 2nfro's trickles of conciousness. The rest of us have been trying for years and still cant make any sense out of them.

All I would say is make sure you have a very clear distinction between the two sides of the shooting. Best not to let the weddings and babies punters have any idea about your other photographic work.

If your wish is to just diversify then fair enough but if you wish to make your fortune in glamour - forget it. Unless you are going to rewrite the book by doing something different, fresh and exciting that you can charge for, nowadays there simply isn't the money around in glamour photography. All the adult mags sales are pathetic thus they cannot pay decent money anymore. Coupled with the fact that they are owned and run by idiots these days.

Keep it as a hobby and on a seperate site but don't rely on it !

2nfro your comments are very true of many "weekend" photographers out there as you say...sticking it on auto mode etc. My work is my life and pays my bills...it is my business. I came here to simplu enquire the rout etc into shooting adult stills. I am not interested in simply shooting glamour...there are plenty of women out there who will get their clothes off for that. Thankyou to everyone who has posted.
