A funny story about a certain model

Last week I flew into London from Tokyo and traveled up to exotic Birmingham to shoot 4 models.

I worked it out - my flights, ground travel and location hire. It cost ?237 to shoot each model excluding their modeling fee.

One of the 'local' models I booked could not find the Bullring Car Park. And although living only 30 minutes away was 45 minutes late.

On entering the shoot location she proclaimed that her boyfriend had advised her that if she wasn't going to get the full rate (even though she was late) she should leave.

I agreed, she should leave.

So, I paid ?237 and traveled 5923 miles to witness this dreary un-professionalism.

I have to laugh.

You could argue that it was unprofessional of you not to expect unprofessional behaviour

If this is the way a model treats a shoot with a top class reputable producer where as well as loosing the shoot fee she gets bad rather than good publicity it is no wonder as an amateur photographer seeking models for private solo content shoots I feel like giving up.
As I've posted before unless overall much better next year will be my last.

I trust you will post their details on the UKAP site in the Report a no show / time waster section of

I once had a girl i'd booked for a shoot 12-4, turn up late. She was so late, and had the dreaded "The number you are calling is switched off" so I put it down to a no-show, sent the make-up artist home.

The model turned up about 1:30, and the very first words she said was "We're going to have to rush through this, I'm still leaving at four"

She left a lot sooner!

"Top class reputable producer" ... I guess it comes down to a matter of interpretation, but having been derided by the original poster a while back on a different subject matter, and entirely without substance, I see absolutely no reason whatsoever to hold my tongue on this occasion.

2nfro. I'm more of a DOG man.

I don't need any more cunt.

I much prefer, in order of preference:

1. Unwalked on snow.
2. Salted buttered toast and tea. No milk
3. A pint of Doom Bar
4. No sulking, just punch her in the mouth. Life's too short.
5. Older women with a desperate look in their eye.
6. Burned meat raw in the middle
7. 6 hours with a Playstation
8. A really crap curry on a Friday night
9. Paying Express delivery and the item actually turning up before 12 noon.
10. A street with no litter on it.

Coming late, and expecting shoot one hour for a full 2 hour pay sounds like a model I nearly shot. Her suitcase pimp/hubby/whatever made it clear she should get paid for the full two hours if we shot the 1 hour. I politely declined.

And it was a model who is showered with praises on this very message board.
