Ok I am playing around with an idea for the new year... wanted to know if I am going mad or if there is some yardage in it... and I am not suggesting I am the first to think of this, sure it's been done before, and would be interesting to know if done successfully or not...

I am looking at flying in "talent" initially from easter europe, mainly Czech Girls...

The idea would be to fly them into Luton Airport, and put them up in Milton Keynes for potentially upto a week...

What kind of interest would there be ? I would need some serious commitment from photographers and production companies...

Already speaking to some girls from Czech and Poland. Not sure that it will be any more economical, once flights and accomodation are taken into account, than booking UK models, but should have a better idea soon. Potentially interested anyway.

Yeah without sounding mean, I have lost faith in the UK talent pool... alas we've shot most of the hot girls... I guess we're picky !

Not much new talent coming through...

I can book a top notch apartment in Milton Keynes for around ?600, I am guessing Easy Jet flights would be at most ?200... so ?800... and then of course the cost of the girl or maybe 2...

Now if this was spread across a few people then it would allow for new girls each month maybe... looking for 4 of 5 people... will work out the logistics and costs a bit more...

I'm guessing we would need a commitment of around ?150-200 on top of the models fees to cover the apartment, travel and food/drink for the girls... If that's too much probably best not to email me lol...

I should also make it clear, I am not looking to make a profit from this... simply cover the costs of bringing hot new talent into the UK for shoots...

not necessarily, since quite a few UK based producers are here...watching.

Already talking to a few Czech and Latvian based models and their agencies via Skype (on a regular basis). Seems promising. When it comes to payment, some models go by (per) sets done and some by half or full days.

Not so many do the per hour thing, although perhaps that could be worked out.
