Here is your chance to have a voice and say in the health of your industry. AITA & UKAP have set up the draft protocols to be discussed and would like as many performers and producers to come along to voice there thoughts and concerns for your industry and what health levels you want in the future.
It starts at 14:30 tomorrow at
The Hercules Pillars
18 Great Queen Street, WC2B 5DG London. Nearest tube Holborn (Central Line)
If you have not read the draft protocols yet, you can find them
HERE
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible, this is your health, your job, have a say and get involved.

I know a lot of models have not been happy with the way things have been for some time now and have felt left out of the loop.
I know there is a push from a group of models wanting to make that difference with their initiative. I hope they back this event by turning up tomorrow. This is really important and UKAP and AITA will support whatever procedures the models agree on
I hope the meeting is well attended and successful in its outcome!

Suggestion.
Take a leaf out of the TV Promotors books...
If everyone who is attending, started A SEPARATE THREAD about it...
The front page of the forum would be NOTHING BUT, and no one would have broken any rules... (My-2-Cents)

Cant make it but I dont know if this has been mentioned already ..
I used the NHS for the first time for my most recent test, collected the results and cert today.
The girl I spoke to there wanted to know why on earth I would want to be tested once a month and need a cert every time.
She seemed less than impressed with the answer
but also said that I would only be allowed up to 3 certs per year despite the fact that I would be paying 50 quid a time.
This is nuts (pardon the pun), I would have thought they would be more supportive and show a greater interest.
I'll be going private again from now on I think.

I can forgive anyone in the medical profession who frowns upon the porn industry after all , by its very nature we have the kind of sex with many people by what we do as a business
However, I liken it to be a stunt performer jumping over buses or anyone in the medical profession who has to work with all kinds of people with infectious diseases. Keep your opinions to yourself and just do your job or we'll take our business elsewhere.
I find people outside this business play russian roulette with their healths a lot more than someone who does it for porn and I can bet when an STD gets in its usually by way of some activity outside the business...Ok rant over

So what happened at the meeting then guys? I presume since you posted on here about it as well as several other places such as Twitter etc..that the results will be posted in the public domain as well as the pre-meeting advertising?....

Gaslight,
AITA will be putting a statement out this week regarding the meeting. As part of this I will be meeting with the NHS BASHH division tomorrow.
We have not been able to place information out earlier due to time constraints of all involved.

That's excellent, thank you for the clarification.
I was involved in the last Adult Industry health initiative which was met with almost absolute negativity by those directly involved, so will be very interested to hear what has been agreed upon and ratified this time around.
