Trying to book models as an amateur photographer

Hi everyone,
First post - please be gentle with me!
I have carried out around 10 shoots over the past 7 years as a very amateur photographer.
I have been lucky enough to photo Lucy Zara but have found it difficult to get replies from models as an amateur photographer.
My current "dream" would be to do a shoot with Emma Butt or Morgan James - any ideas, please, would be much appreciated!
Many thanks.

Emma Butt is very friendly. I'm sure she'd reply to you.

Plenty of models on AIR worth writing to.
FWIW lots of photographers are a big vague and those enquiries will often be ignored.
You are writing to her, so you must know what you have in mind for her.
Tell her - if your email shows that you know what she looks like, what her levels are, and what you want to get, you maximise your chance of response.

Paul,
Forgive me, is AIR a website?
I did email Emma B having seen her on the promotions board here but didnt get a reply.
Thank you for the other advice.

Get yourself a profile on AIR. Showcase examples of your work, and list the models you have already worked with.
It worked for me.

It would be worth getting a profile on AIR as advised and also consider joining other sites such as Netmodel and Purestorm just to get some references. I found when I started out doing shoots that a lot of models will not work with you without good references, but the more shoots you get under your belt and the more references you obtain the easy you will find to book models.
You will also find a lot of these models also have profiles on some of these sites and very easy to contact regarding shoots, and you have the option of joining as a free member or upgrading, as a paid member you get a lot of benefits.
