Well I know I cant name names... but a model cancelled on us at 8 am this morning, it's not the first, and wont be the last !

What really pisses me off is the fact that she told us on Friday it was 100% on, on the strength of that we hired an apartment which has cost us a lot of money...

The whole time and money wasted really winds me up... but the model of course doesn't give a shit... she know's other people will still hire her... totally fucked up !

Well i am feeling your pain after a few no shows recently, kinda why i havent been updating so much.

I had offered a shoot to a girl recently, i admit i am amateur and this is clear from my work but it was a ligitimate shoot. She turned me down as i wasnt experienced or professional enough and then the next thing i see is pics of her having sex with a 50 something guy who is very clearly amateur. It wasnt like i offered low rates for the shoot either.

There is enough talk of photographers being a piss take, but its certainly a 2 way street!

Yeah its a total joke... girls moan all the time there's no work out there, and then no show or cancell really late... flakey ass models !

Yes before the models start chipping in I know it's not all models... some are real proffessional... models like Katie K and Natalia Forrest to name but a few are a pleasure to work with...

I have to say this model surprised me... I really thought she would turn up, she had cancelled on us a month ago, but was keen to re arrange the shoot... and as we'd shot her once before I was happy to do that...

But royaly fucked us over... had confirmed 100% the shoot was on at the end of last week... on the strength of that we hired a luxury apartment to shoot her in... which cost us over ?100... but of course the model doesnt see that, or is bothered by it... just glad it wasn't a girl girl shoot with another model booked in !

yeah name and same on UKAP I would we had the wort year so far for let downs and not just the unknowns either

I'll say it again... It's why I gave up shooting porn.

Just had a similar thing. I shot and paid a young (19yo) model for our sites about 6 weeks ago, paid her well and got all the release forms and receipts signed. Then yesterday she txts to ask if we could now please remove all video and stills of her from the web without even offering money back!

I pointed out that it was impossible as clips are now on 100s of TGP and tube sites and even a good effort would cost ?1000s in compensating people for their time.

Some models don't seem to realise that it's a buisiness

Is lot of people without any respect in this industry
same models that , producers and sites ...........

As I've posted before I don't understand either.

If the model replies they are not available on the dates offered or fee offered is not worthwhile for time / content because they can earn money on cam etc. fine. Similarly if they don't reply to enquiry they get struck off.

What I can't understand is when, particularly after they post seeking work or reply to a casting call, they agree to shoot for a certain time and level for a fee but when it comes to finalising details and too late to find a substitute they cancel with a variety of reasons.

For photographers / producers, outside of UKAP, naming and shaming is virtually impossible. Hence it is difficult both to find out which models are flaky until too late and warn others.

Is it any wonder Jim and Lara regularly head off to Eastern Europe while others like kiNky erOtica simply throw in the towel.
