Just seen a thread on 'PS' stating that Peter aka 'Nikonman' - sadly passed away on Tuesday last week due to a heart attack.
There was only one Nikonman that I've ever known, he was always happy to assist with advice for both models and photographers alike, his standard of work was always excellent and his work ethic thoroughly professional.
I'm sure there are a number of people on this site and others who would want to join with me and voice their sadness at the passing of such a nice guy.
A true gent and he will be sadly missed.

I only knew Pete through the BGAFD and the occasional email but he struck me as "one of the good guys" and he had an excellent name and reputation among the models as well.
He will definitely be missed here.

That's made a really bad start to the week.
Peter was probably my biggest inspiration for me to take up photography with models after years of doing it with cars and architecture.
He seemed like a perfect gentleman and my thoughts are with his friends and family.
R.I.P. Peter.

OMG i've just seen this post and what can i say as i am stunned by such sad news.
Indeed he rang me about a week ago from hospital to say that he'd had a heart attack but was "on the mend".
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends at this sad time
RIP Peter - a true gent
